This lesson is a practical method which provides learners with the opportunity to investigate creative layering techniques using Masks and composite layers. The aim is to direct learners experimentation and curiosity in digital imaging techniques and advance their application of knowledge through understanding Photoshop's most powerful feature (Layers).
The included worksheet is extensive and covers key concepts in depth, explaining best use of practice.

As you will see I take great pride in making my Handouts quality, to aid both student and teacher. The lesson is priced upon my time in creating these original lessons, this one took me a day and a half to develop. Please note that you are not paying for source materials which I am sure you will find online but quality original lessons with quality original teaching resources designed with learner and teacher in mind.
This lesson has been crafted for time and ease. I have created a pre-made selection in the PSD file so learners can access it, in order to speed up the session. I explain in the handout key concepts, always cautious to explain why - not just how.
Learners create a Magazine cover using the worksheet and source materials provided. The are encouraged to be creative with text and attempt to fulfil the task to a reasonably professional level.
This session is a continuation of the hair cut out tutorial using channels however it can be used as a standalone session with the source material included.

This lesson focuses on adapting an image for use as a brush to be used in digital art projects or commercial resale. Learners will be shown the basics of creating brushes and how not to create a brush. Through acknowledging mistakes learners will be guided to appropriate action regarding design decisions. Learners will be encouraged to evaluate the benefit of creating their own brushes for artistic endeavour or commercial benefit. The session culminates with learners creating a brush set using a selection of images of smoke.
It is encouraged for learners to Photograph items for future brush sets and textures to be used at a later date.

A fun creative Lesson with Extensive Learner Worksheet, Lesson Plan and Source Materials
The session conceptualises original artwork creation using original and found source material. It may be used as a stand alone lesson or in conjunction with my other sessions. The Handout worksheet is expanded to explain the key concepts.
Learners are directed to complete a multi-layered composition, which adheres to design considerations. The focus of the lesson is in two sections – one detailing brush creation from the example image and the second section building texture and using the brushes to create the outcome. This session will allow learners to experiment using their creativity to fulfil the learning objectives, using brushes, textures and blend modes.

Learners work with given typeface and images to create an undead zombie poster in Photoshop. This lesson challenges learners to think creatively about type and creating interest when working with images.

The focus of this lesson is to introduce Learners to the concept of adjustments layers, composite layers and creating a background image. The outcome is to achieve a modern twist on the Daguerreotype image.
